Our French Medium is one of our more popular belnds. It is a very dark and oily bean, but not as bitter as our Italian High Roast
Best served through espresso although does well through cafetiere/filter for those who enjoy dark oily coffees.
n.b Some 'Bean to Cup' machines may be designed in a way that oiler beans are not recommended for use, please check machine manuals before using.

French roast
Confusing labels. Said it was medium but it was very dark roast. Almost undrinkable. Disappointed.

French medium roast surprise
Would never have thought I would try a medium roast as always bought the dark roast. I would always and still do but a coffee I haven’t tried just to see what’s out there and I decided to try the French roast.
Wow this is one of the best coffees I have had. Full of flavour and not a bad strength either and has now become my go to coffee of choice.
Try it and you might just be surprised -

French Roast
Although I generally prefer a medium roast, I like to try a dark roast from time to time, and this one seems to capture perfectly that "continental cafe" flavour.

About the best coffee you can buy, in my view.

French roast.
This is the best coffee I've ever tasted for the double espressos I drink all the time. Superb; not bitter but well-balanced with an enduring rich taste. My only criticism is that's it's rather temperamental to get the grind refinement and quantity consistently right for optimum extraction.
