Our French Medium is one of our more popular blends. It is a very dark and oily bean, but not as bitter as our Italian High Roast
Best served through espresso although does well through cafetiere/filter for those who enjoy dark oily coffees.
n.b Some 'Bean to Cup' machines may be designed in a way that oiler beans are not recommended for use, please check machine manuals before using.

French Roast
Although I generally prefer a medium roast, I like to try a dark roast from time to time, and this one seems to capture perfectly that "continental cafe" flavour.

About the best coffee you can buy, in my view.

This is the best coffee I've ever tasted for the double espressos I drink all the time. Superb; not bitter but well-balanced with an enduring rich taste. My only criticism is that's it's rather temperamental to get the grind refinement and quantity consistently right for optimum extraction.

French Medium Roast
I keep coming back to this coffee because of its traditional smooth and strong taste and crema. I use it for latte using a bean-to-cup espresso machine.

This is a delicious coffee roasted to perfection for espresso. It leaves a lasting deep coffee taste with no bitterness. Please don't taint it by adding unnecessary fat or other rubbish - it's perfect on its own from the thick crema to the last drop. Temperamental to get a consistent grind like most oily beans but that adds to the pleasure of experimenting with different grind amounts and grades - I get excellent results with a hand grinder.
