From the Dirial estate in Dibrugarh, Assam This TGFOP (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) has a bright, medium-strong malty flavour.
Preparation: Use approximately 1 heaped teaspoon per cup. Pour over freshly boiled water and cover. Leave to stand for 3-4 minutes. Dispose of the used tea leaves.
Use with a tea strainer or tea pot to avoid the mess.

The best leaf
I started buy my tea from pumphreys two years ago. They are actual leaves instead of the dust swept off the floor. The quality and flavour of this tea is the best I have had. Just like the tea my granny gave us. It is very refreshing and doesn't go tanny... it also makes a fantastic ice tea in the summer and with mint and a little gin, it does very well in the summer evenings too.
I highly recommend it. -
