From the Dirial estate in Dibrugarh, Assam This TGFOP (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) has a bright, medium-strong malty flavour.
Preparation: Use approximately 1 heaped teaspoon per cup. Pour over freshly boiled water and cover. Leave to stand for 3-4 minutes. Dispose of the used tea leaves.
Use with a tea strainer or tea pot to avoid the mess.

Flowery Orange Pekoe
An excellent blend for ordinary use.

Flowery Orange Pekoe
This batch of FOP is perfect. The last batch had been much more powdery, and less rich to use and I mentioned it too you when I got it.. I love having the proper leaves back - evidently my comments didn't fall on deaf ears. This is a really great everyday tea, and the leaf size rally does matter!

Still Great
a kilo a month for the past several years... (the name is misleading though, its not flowery tasting..)

Best Tea Ever
I buy ten kilos a year of this tea.
Nee I say more!
I used to have Keemun as my regular tea, and I still love that too, but FOP is more of an all rounder, appreciated by everybody as a good, straightforward, flavourful standard. -
Another 8 Kilos... I must like this tea!
Flowery Orange Pekoe is a great everyday tea - flavoursome and fragrant. Plain enough in flavour not to offend PGTips drinkers, complex enough to interest coffee drinkers. I also love Keemun, but many friends and family find it too smoky, so FOP has become my default tea.

Pekoe experiment
I did not know what to expect. Attractive name and indeed, a nice tea although the flowery element seems hidden - or perhaps too subtle.
