Double Roast Costa
A very nice coffee with a smooth but strong flavour, I enjoy as a first coffee of the day and throughout the day too. This coffee ticks all of the boxes for me.

Lovely coffee ,beans a bit large
Lovely coffee but the beans are a little large so struggle to go through grinder.

Deep dark and chocolatey
Coming back from Cuba where we enjoyed the dark coffees we were searching for something similar over here. We tried 6 different Pumphreys coffees and both voted this our favourite. It is strong but mellow with lots of nice undertones - not too strong for daytime but a delightful after-dinner coffee.

Mr
Being a 'normal' human being I am sure there are nuances of flavour in this coffee that escape me but, suffice it to say,the taste is strong, dark and smooth and I really enjoyed.
I keep a spreadsheet of all the different coffees (38) I've tried,so far,and this one is No4 but may rise as I have only just started.
well done,Pumphreys
