Would recommend using this grinder for cafetiere grind only as it uses a blade that smashes the bean down (rather than a burr grinder which grinds) this grinder is perfect for cafetiere brewing but not for filter or espresso machines. So if you are looking for a finer grind please search for the Wilfa Grinder or the MACAP M5D on our website.
