Sourced from the historic coffee lands of Djimmah in Ethiopia’s western highlands, this single-origin Arabica carries the classic mocha character that gives it its name. Grown at altitude in the fertile Kaffa region, the beans develop a naturally low acidity and a beautifully layered profile that has been prized for generations.
We roast it to a balanced medium in our Newcastle roastery, allowing the origin to shine while adding just the right depth. In the cup you’ll find deep wine-like notes intertwined with sweet, ripe fruit tones and that unmistakable mocha richness. The body is smooth and rounded, the acidity gentle and clean, creating a cup that feels both refined and deeply comforting.

My favourite
I've been a pumphreys customer for 10 years, and this is my favourite coffee. Its strong, but without loosing the depth of flavour. I'd definitely recommend it
