Take a look at our new coffee and tea packaging!

It has been a crazy last 10 months as you know, with so much disruption and change to the way we live our lives. We all must adapt as well as we can and do our best to look forward to any positives these changes may bring.

For us, we adapted with a new website to better service the huge growth in online sales when our shops were forced to closed. We needed to provide a better service to both current and new customers alike, making sure they can easily find and purchase their current… or next favourite coffee or tea!

We think we successfully walked the tight rope and of combing our classic 270 years of experience with a modern fresh website look and feel. So naturally, following on from this launch we have also refreshed our coffee and tea packaging also.

Our 250g bags now have new labels as you can see in the image above. We have kept our well know logo text but removed at least from the labels for now the famous Pumphreys lady. We also keep our recognisable green bars from the branding we’ve developed over the years.

Each coffee and tea type now have a specific colour scheme, allowing for easier product selection both online and in stores. The bags also have the instantly familiar image of ‘coffee beans’ for coffee and ‘tea leaves’ for tea.

Coffee customers can now also instantly see the roast type with supporting bean count, along with easy reference to grind type. Both coffee and tea bags feature source region, along with the unique best before and lot number for quality control on every single batch we supply.

The new packaging will be rolling out from now onwards so expect to see changes to your usual bag of coffee in the coming weeks.

As always, we offer expert barista training, when our training centre reopens, to help make sure your coffee making skills are steaming hot, at home or in the coffee shop!
