Pumphreys 1750 Blend is one of our oldest blends.
Pumphreys 1750 Blend is a mixture which was discovered in old blending records which were unearthed when Pumphreys moved out of the Newcastle Cloth market to their new premises at Blaydon.
Our assumption is that this blend must have been enjoyed by generations of North East coffee lovers over the years. Although the exact blend is hard to recreate as coffee production has changed significantly over the years we feel we have captured a taste of the past with our special 1750 blend. Smooth, full bodied and mellow.

1750 bend
I bought this for my sister who many years ago worked in a Bank in Grainger Street and bought the coffee for members of staff. She now lives in Yorkshire and is always pleased to receive the parcel sent direct to her from Blaydon. Thank you

Perfection in a mug
I love this blend, it is really rich without being bitter. Good to drink anytime of the day. Would recommend it wholeheartedly.

A really satisfying coffee
I have tried many different brands looking for a mild coffee with no bitter after taste and came across this one by accident while on holiday in Berwick, in a cafe called Lindisfarne View. I asked what coffee they used and then bought my own from Pumphreys website. Its the best I've ever tasted and will be buying the 1750 blend from now on.

A lovely mellow flavour
We are great fans of the Bigg market blend so wanted a more mellow blend to have as an alternative. I loved the story behind it and wasn’t disappointed by the flavour! A fantastic every day coffee.
