Heritage

Coffee is recorded to have been brought to Kenya in the 19th century. German Missionaries arrived bringing coffee bourbon trees with them, which they planted in this colonial era. Under the following British rule, the industry boomed and the Kenya coffee industry became well known for the Kenya AA Coffee, which was and still is associated with quality coffee.

In more modern times, Kenyan finest coffee has a strong following within the speciality coffee market, due to its diverse fruity flavour profiles. Kenyan coffee growing regions provide the perfect environment, high altitudes, red volcanic soils and temperate climates.
